Your journal is yours. Claro exists to help you understand yourself better — not to monetise your inner life. Everything you write stays private, always.

• Your journal entries, stored encrypted in a secure database
• AI-generated reflections, memories, and story arcs derived from your writing
• Your email address for authentication — nothing else about you

• Your entries are sent to AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) to generate reflections and insights
• These providers do not use your data to train their models
• Your text is processed and discarded — it is not stored by any AI provider

• Sell, share, or monetise your journal content
• Run analytics or advertising on your personal writing
• Allow anyone — including Claro staff — to read your entries

• Export anytime — download all your data as JSON from the menu
• Delete everything — request full account deletion and we wipe it all, permanently
• No lock-in — your words belong to you, not to us
